Daily around here, is me or Jack, picking up scraps of yarn. They get everywhere. Anywhere we have walked (especially within the creation zone) there are scraps of different colors. It is funny to me how this gang of "scraps" gets around & reaches into new territories. The other day I noticed them branching out to my purse, the bathroom, the Jeep. I wonder if there is a plan for them to take over the world on their own, without my crochet abilities!!! That would be a nightmare!!!
I will be glad when the wedding is totally over so that I can dedicate the proper amount of time here & my fb page. So many plans.
Then of course, there are the zombie monkeys I've been working on. Once I started creating them, soooo many ideas came rushing in. I am loving the "creating" & not worrying about writing anything down. Not using patterns. (I do love patterns!!)
Am thinking that every so many monkeys should have their "hair" made from my "scraps" -- you know, to help keep down their population.

Fred & Ethel Crocheted Zombie Sock Monkeys.  I am loving having them around. Each time I look at them it makes me smile!!! On to the next!!!!
The blog is short, but will make up for it soon! <3 ~Libby

Well, long couple of weeks here. Am still not where I want to be on this site, but it will all happen soon , I hope.
I just don't know how everyone does it....If I'm online, leaves NO crochet time..If I crochet it leaves no Online time. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Plus I have had a couple of set backs...
At the moment I am working on my 2 different CBN afghans, Sock Monkies, a baby doll....then while I'm working on these things, ideas start pouring in....& they come to me while I'm sleeping.... Like this afternoon....kinda was sleeping (worked for an hour & a half out in the yard) & this idea for a cute little amigurumi popped into my head...I was thinking , "Oh I just have to do this tonight!!! Before the idea gets lost...my silly & strange crochet friends will love it...."  So I may just work on it while Longmire is on.
Jack thinks that I have too many projects going at once...called me Leonardo Da Vinci, the other day. (If you don't get the comparison ....Mr.Leo never finished things...he'd work on something for a bit, then get carried away to something else) . But honestly, I know I am not the only crochet junky that has more than a couple of projects done at the same time...
I promise to have this page ready to share by the weekend...so for now, I'm just blubbering to myself.... :)

My very 1st Blog!!! (Can't be much different than facebook, can it?)

A very big WELCOME to my site. So glad to have you here!!!! There's a bit for me to learn, & I always think the beginning is a great place to start. I am so very excited to be starting this new part in my adventure. The next month or so will be a bit flighty  ~  meaning that I plan on making changes here, based on suggestions from you, my viewers, my friends, & my customers. I welcome any suggestions that you may have.
I do hope that this becomes a normal stop for you, as I will have new things to blog about & new free patterns & new merchandise for sale, at 1st, daily. Then as I get adjusted ~ 1-3 times a week. :)
This week I am working on a few items. Some for my store, some that I have sold, & some for gifts.

For my store, I am working on pet mats at the moment.. I have never blocked, but have decided to do this with these. Below is a link from a youtube tutorial that seems pretty simple. I will post finished pics as soon as they are done.

Also on my hook, is a Little Bigfoot Monkey. Which is a free pattern from www.amigurumitogo.com  ...if you get a bit of time, please check out Sharon's blog. She offers many free ami patterns there, that you are allowed to sell finished items of, as long as you credit and/or link her.  She is the reason I started creating amis & am thankful that there are Crocheters, like her, out here.
I will also post a pic of my finished monkey before he leaves for his new owner.
For now, this is all of the time I can spare!! Please feel free to jump in & share your day or what you have on your hook!! Happy Croche

I'm a 41 yr. old woman, from Missouri. I have been Crocheting for over 22 years, taught by my mother. I have a wonderful fiance, 3 silly dogs & kitty that thinks he rules the house.
